Debug mode
Press C-Up, Up, C-Left, Right, C-Down, Down, C-Right, R, A, B
when "Press Start" appears at the opening screen. A sound will
confirm correct code entry. Use controller two to select the
debug options. Press Start to cycle through the options, such as
"Cheats", "Level Select", and more.
When you enter the code on the title screen and hear the horse,
the Cheats Menu will be available but will have no cheats active
(unless you they were previously activated or earned). Once you
start or load a game/level, text will appear in the upper/left
hand corner of the screen. Use controller two to control the
debug options. Pressing Start cycles through the various lists of
options. Use the buttons noted below to change certain values.
Note: Debug mode does not save on the memory pak like the other
cheats.

Multi-player debug mode
Enable the "Debug mode" code as usual, then start a two or three
player multi-player match. You can use the unused controller to
control the debug menu. The best use for this is to use the warp
to play the regular game with multiple players. You can complete
the game as normal or fight each other. When you die, you will
just reappear because you are in a Dukematch.
First person view
Press Down, Up, L, B, Z, Left, C-Up, C-Right, C-Left, Z when
"Press Start" appears at the opening screen. A sound will confirm
correct code entry.
All weapons
Press Down, A, Up, L, Z, R, C-Up, C-Down, B, C-Left
Freeze Thrower and unlimited ammunition
Press Down, Up, A, L, R, Z when "Press Start" appears at the
opening screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

Skin select
Press C-Left, R, Left, Up, Down, B, A, Z when "Press Start"
appears at the opening screen. A sound will confirm correct code
entry. Go to multi-player mode and select a character. Press
Start, select "Quit Game" then choose "Yes". Start a one player
game to play as the person that was previously selected.
Action Nuk'em mode
Press Down(2), A, Z(2), Left, A when "Press Start" appears at the
opening screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Alternately, successfully complete the game. This mode allows
Duke to kill opponents with one shot.
Big head mode
Press B, Up, Down(2), A, Z, A, Right when "Press Start" appears
at the opening screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Alternately, rescue all babes in level 2, "Liberty Or Death", to
unlock the cheat option for big head mode.
Big gun mode
Press C-Up, C-Left, Z, B, L, Z, A when "Press Start" appears at

Alternately, kill all opponents in level 3, "Nuclear Winter", to
unlock the cheat option for big gun mode.
Flat shade map

Kill all opponents in level 16, "Hydrogen Bomb", to unlock the

Maximum Volt C. ammunition
Obtain all secrets in level 17, "The Rack", to unlock the cheat
option for maximum Volt C. ammunition.
Maximum sniper ammunition
Rescue all babes in the "Going Down" secret level to unlock the
cheat option for maximum sniper ammunition.
Maximum freezer ammunition
Kill all opponents in level 20, "The Brothers Nukem", to unlock
the cheat option for maximum freezer ammunition.
Maximum gamma ammunition
Rescue all babes in level 21, "Alien Mothership", to unlock the
cheat option for maximum gamma ammunition.
More multi-player characters
Complete any level and save the game to unlock one additional
character in multi-player mode.
Extreme mode
Successfully complete each level with all babes rescued and all
enemies killed.
Health refill
Destroy a fire hydrant, toiler, water pump, or another water
source. Run up, stand in the water and repeatedly press B to
slowly restore Duke's health until it reaches 100. Also, if you
see a concentrated area of purple objects appearing from the
ground, stand on it to refill your health.
Wetworld level
Play through the Nuclear Winter level until reaching the rail
tracks leading to the communicator. Power up and drop off onto
the roof below where a medi-kit can be seen. Jump off this roof
into the water (which is only on one side). Swim to a floating
platform, where the level exit will appear.
At the end of the Nuclear Winter level, when you cross the bridge
to the satellite receiver fall to the right on the bridge into
some water. Note: If you fall to the left side you will fall to
the street and kill yourself. Turn the corner in the water and
jump into the space ship.
Going Down level
Locate all the time machine pieces before reaching The Rack level
and a second exit portal should appear in the room just off where
the first is located. Use it to reach the Going Down (Titanic)
level.
Collect all of the time machine parts at the end of The Rack
level. Instead of going through the door, keep going straight
until you reach a room with the time machine, then jump in.
Easy Western period Boss kill
Get the sniper rifle before facing the giant scorpion at last
stage of the western time period. Go out to the entrance when you
can barely or see half of the scorpion. Pull out the sniper
rifle, aim at its body, and start firing.
Talking guns
On Level 2, The Streets, collect a powerful gun such as the
grenade launcher, or something that destroys a large area. Enter
the Dukeburger Restaurant. Equip your powerful weapon and if you
want and kill the army man on the landing of the steps. Move into
the corner of the landing very slowly and look into the top room
until both army men are in your view. Shoot a few grenades at the
army men until both are dead -- pick up their guns. Walk into the
room -- as if the army men were still there, Duke will start to
talk to them, and the guns will respond to Duke. Note: This also
creates a hole in the wall that can be entered to reach a hidden
Babe.
